Not too many big developments lately, just coding along and still being pretty productive. Although, I think the hours are starting to take a toll on us. Hopefully this weekend will be restful enough to carry us through another 2 week face-to-face session, which starts Monday afternoon when John arrives in Chicago.
I thought I’d share some pics I took with the built-in iSight on my new MacBook Pro, which was a generous gift from my mom since she saw how frustrated I was getting on my old 12″ PowerBook. I got the 2.0 Ghz model with 1 GB memory - should suffice for now. I must say though, it is blazing compared to my old powerbook. For a while I thought we were writing really bad code, but I think it was just my slow mac
Anyways, here’s a pic of my new sleeve from Crumpler and a pic with my fiance using the PhotoBooth app that comes with the Mac (she’s taking a study break).

There are some minor annoyances with the mac that have been documented on other sites, such as the whirring processor when it’s idle and the spotty wifi connection, but it’s still a big increase in productivity since I’m able to code/test faster and see more on the lovely 15″ widescreen, which I then dual screen with my LCD monitor.
