I got so excited when I saw this article on digg. Now while programming John and I can also relive the fun and pain of college by listening to lectures from Berkeley - oh wait, I don’t remember if we went to lectures…I guess we can finally get our moneys worth and listen to them now
All the classics are there for my fellow EECS nerds (Electrical Engineering & Computer Science for the lay person), including EE40!
Here are the iTunes URLs - I hope they work (and yes you need iTunes):
- CS 61A - The Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs with Brian Harvey! (course website)
- CS 61B - Data Structures (my favorite) with Paul Hilnger (course website)
- CS 61C - Machine Structures with John Wawrzynek (course website)
- CS 162 - Operating Systems with Anthony Joseph (course website) - oh the memories, I suppose you had to be there, or not be there…
- EE40 - Introduction to Microelectronics with Constance Chang-Hasnain (course website)
If you need an intro course to computers:
- IDS 110: Introduction to Computers with Americ Azevedo (course website)
Some just for fun:
- Audio Walking Tour of the Campus
- Cal sports, including “The Play”! Haha, take that Stanfurd! (YouTube URL if the embedded doesn’t show for you below)
Hope all you Cal alumni get some book knowledge back in there after rotting away in the corporate world and relive some good memories. For the non-Cal alumni, if you listen to these lectures, you can say “I’ve taken courses from the best public university in the country“. Some Cal football pics:

Go Bears!

Sorry, if you were affected by the many edits I made to the post. The embedding of the youttube video didn’t go as smooth as planned. I ended up using this technique: http://my.opera.com/danipage/blog/show.dml/147033.
Let me know if you know of a better way.

Nice podcasts, they bring back (mostly) good memories.
