I think it&#039;s all too often that people (not just businesses) don&#039;t learn enough from the past and from others.  As a small business I think it&#039;s even more important to learn from others (best practices and mistakes) since you have very little room for error!</description>

I find two points here most interesting: Field&#039;s influence on Dayton, of Dayton-Hudson (Target, Mervyns, etc...is Mervyns still with them?  LOL) and the concept of really marketing to women.  Amazing that this man could define the idea so very clearly and easily, and yet today marketers are still trying to convince business leadership to figure out how to market to gals.  Hmmm...those who don&#039;t know history doomed to repeat it?  One wonders.</description>
